Please be aware of the risks in doing this. If you are still using earlier versions of NMM (before 0.60) then there will be a transition period while NMM uninstalls and reinstalls all your files for other games (like Skyrim). Profiling is very effective at making mod management easier and more convenient (with sharing functionality coming soon), but also drastically changes how NMM handles file storage and mod installation behind the scenes. Please know that this release also includes the “Profiling” functionality added in recent releases.

Even fancy scripted installers should work, though we haven’t had a chance to test them thoroughly yet as there's no mods that use scripted installers out at this time. This is a preliminary release that may have some wrinkles to iron out, but internal testing has gone smoothly. Sorry I know thats long but I wanted to be as detailed as possible. It’s been amazing to see the reaction to Fallout 4 modding so soon! We knew it was going to be big, but the response has been phenomenal! So, DuskDweller and Luco81 our illustrious NMM dev team, have been working like Dogmeat updating Nexus Mod Manager to handle Fallout 4 mods. However when I choose to re-install that mod, ModAssistant says it is installed, but nothing appears in the plugin folder. Very weirdly, in ModAssistant at least, I can choose to uninstall one of those mods and I can watch as the mod is deleted from the Plugin folder. The game will not load those mods as installed however. I just pasted the entire folder contents into my own and they show up as installed in both modding programs. This only happened twice, all other times I never saw that message.įinally, I tried to have a friend just send me their lib and plugin folder contents and see if this would work. Randomly, in my many re-install attempts, in BeatDrop when I selected "check for mods" I would see a message stating that the plugin folder cannot be found, even though it exists and the directory is correctly set.
With ModAssistant it is similar but there is no "check for mods" it just shows my list of mods with the "uninstall" option there, but yet there are no mods installed in the plugins folder. When I do this, it scans and sees no mods installs, and removes all of my selected mods from Activated, as if nothing happened. In BeatDrop you can Scan for Mods in settings. Nothing is actually installing though they show as activated.

In the settings the installation folder is set correctly (pretty common install folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Beat Saber).Īfter selecting the mods for install and they show as activated, I check the plugins folder and there is not a single file in there. select the mods I want installed from beatdrop. Run IPA.exe once BSIPA is installed from BeatDrop
I am on the admin account of this pc, and I have tried running the mod apps As Administrator. I have done a completely clean uninstall of BS and the mods, including deleting their folders from the hard drive before re-installing. Modding isn't working for either version.
Couple of things, I am now running the most updated version of Beat Saber, I have also tried the beta but reverted after that also failed to work. I haven't played in a very long time but I did use BeatDrop in the past with no issues on this computer.
